Meet Our Founder
Sonal Priya
Founder, EasyTrip Plans • Author & HR Professional
Sonal Priya, a resident of Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, emerged from the corridors of education at RVS Academy, one of Jamshedpur’s distinguished schools. Holding a degree in English Literature from Jamshedpur Women’s University, she later navigated the realms of business at Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar, where she completed her MBA in Marketing and Human Resources.
Currently, Sonal is working as an HR professional. Apart from her business background, she is also an author. Her journey into the world of writing began during the unique circumstances of the COVID-19 lockdown. Amid a global pause that offered rare stillness and time, she penned her inaugural poem, setting the stage for her venture into the realm of storytelling.
The inspiration for her writing was twofold: the poetic lineage inherited from her father and the extensive exploration of novels, plays, short stories and poetry during her bachelor’s degree. While her academic pursuits and career path are directed towards business and management, literature remains the beating heart of Sonal’s passion.
Even as she charts her course in the corporate world, her writings stand as a testament to her unwavering dedication to keeping the flame of literature alive within her. Over time, her love for words blended with her love for exploration, and this is how EasyTrip Plans came to life.
